How was your year?

So whatever the ups and downs of your journey over the last year, you are a different person now. And you can also begin to think differently about your drinking identity going forward.

So take some time to pinpoint the changes that show you have shifted your real and intellectual relationship with the bottle. You may find:

  • You have taken more days off drinking in the month than before
  • Managed several sober days in a row
  • Managed your first sober Thanksgiving or Christmas day
  • Said no to a drink a few times (and felt pleased about it)
  • Or managed to stick to your limit on a number of memorable occasions
  • You now know more about your triggers, the people that weaken your resolve or the places to avoid
  • That alcohol advertising gets on your nerves more
  • Or that waking up without a hangover feels very different.

There is some space to think about these changes in your New Year WOOP.
